Second Loft/Closet Space

Above the bathroom we have the second loft, and it’s the smaller of the two which we use as a closet/vanity makeup area. This space is 7 feet deep by 8 inches wide, totaling 56 square feet. On one side of the loft we have hanging clothes for the entire depth of 7 feet; this is plenty of hanging clothes space for us since we were used to small closets in our last house. On the other side of the loft we have eight small drawers as our dresser space, storing some shoes and hats on top of them. In between the two clothes areas and below one of the windows is the vanity area. We chose to have the vanity area separate from the bathroom since it’s what we were used to in our previous home, and liked how it worked as a separate space. We also have two windows in the loft, so it has nice cross-ventilation.
